Subgeneric diagnosis. Body small, medium size for the tribe Meconematini . Body yellowish brown. Dorsal surface of head with 4 longitudinal dark brown stripes. All wings fully developed, tegmina with distinct dark spots; hind wings longer than tegmina. Apices of genicular lobes of hind femora darkish. Posterior margin of male tenth abdominal tergite with a pair of processes; cerci divided into two branches; genitalia with a pair of membranous lobes; subgenital plate elongate, styli positioned in the middle of lateral margins. Ovipositor nearly straight, ventral valve with a small hook at apex.
