Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC17 0611, 1 specimen, 833 m depth. INCOECO stations: BC5 0611, 1 specimen, 816 m depth; BC1 0710, 1 specimen, 349 m depth.

Habitat. Inhabiting on varied substrates, from shallow subtidal bottoms to about 833 m of depth; intertidal photophilic algae; circalittoral coralligenous substrates of Dendrophyllia ramea .

Distribution. Amphi-Atlantic species. Australia.
