Current name: Passiflora vespertilio L. ( Passifloraceae ).

Note: Killip (in Publ. Field Mus. Nat. Hist., Bot. Ser. 19: 158. 1938) appears to have interpreted this name via a Martyn reference which was not cited in the Linnaean protologue. Holm-Nielsen & al. (in Harling & Andersson, Fl. Ecuador 31: 44. 1988) indicated unspecified material in LINN as type, but failed to distinguish between sheets 1070.12 and 1070.13 (which are not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
