Patellapis capillipalpis View in CoL species-group

The males of this species-group differ from other species-groups in having a row of 14–22, small to medium sized, erect bristles on the posterior margin of S4. No giant setae are present as in the other species with bristles on S4. The females are morphological very similar to species of the P. pulchrinitens species group and show no discriminating characters. Unknown are the males of P. fynbosensis and the females of P. e a rd l e y i and P. s a b i n a e.
