Host: Gallinula chloropus (L.) [1, 2, 3, 4].

Distribution in Bulgaria: Burgas [1]; Petrich [2]; Mirovo (Stara Zagora Region), Elhovo [3]; Skala (Burgas Region) [4].

Remarks: Touleshkov (1961a) reported Rallicola minutus (Nitzsch [In Giebel], 1866) under the wrong name “ Laricola minutus Nitzsch ”. The genus name “ Laricola ” has never existed.
