Clypeus apically flattened, basally straight; CHW 3.86; CWW 1.62; MSM 0.27; apical area laterally slightly projected, its margin sharp, not raised. Antenna with 23 flagellomeres; apex of apical flagellomere as wide as its base, not distinctly tapered. Supra-antennal area shiny, moderately punctate, sparsely pilose, striate near antennal sockets, median line (coronal suture) distinct, ventrally to ocelli. Occipital carina fading out before reaching the hypostomal carina. Gena smooth, shiny and glabrous.

Mesosoma . Pronotum shiny, impunctate, moderately pilose, ventrally with weak wrinkles, epomia weak, complete, short, ending far from dorsal margin of pronotum, after diverging from pronotal collar, approximately straight. Mesoscutum 1.21 × as long as wide, scarcely pilose, shiny, scarcely punctate; notaulus reaching about 0.72 of mesoscutum length, moderately impressed, surface over of notaulus not wrinkled. Mesopleuron impunctate, glabrous and longitudinally wrinkled; scuto-scutellar groove shallow, without wrinkles. Subalar ridge weakly projected; epicnemial carina reaching about 0.7 of distance to subalar ridge; sternaulus very weak, almost indistinct; scrobe shallow; mesopleural suture without wrinkles. Mesosternum moderately punctate, without wrinkles. Transverse sulcus at base of propodeum very wide, about 0.76 × as long as anterior area of propodeum, smooth; metapleuron impunctate, with transverse wrinkles, sparsely pilose; juxtacoxal carina absent. Fore tibia distinctly swollen. Mesal lobe of t4 with a distinct cluster of stout bristles. Hind coxa finely punctate and pilose.

Propodeum. 1.19× as long as wide, shiny, moderately pilose; anterior area smooth; spiracle elliptic, SWL 1.73; anterior transverse carina present. Propodeal wrinkles strong, complete, anteriorly very close, centrally and posteriorly spaced; posterior transverse carina absent.

Wings. Fore wing vein 1-Rs+M distinctly sinuous, with bulla placed around its midlength; crossvein 1m-cu more curved; 1M+Rs anteriorly straight, posteriorly weakly curved; vein 2Cua 0.58× as long as crossvein 2cu-a; bulla of crossvein 2m-cu placed on midlength; cell 1+2Rs (areolet) small, APH 0.34 pentagonal, about as high as wide, AWH 0.99; crossvein 3r-m absent; vein 3-M longer than 2-M; 4-Rs straight; 4-M straight, apically slightly curved. Hind wing with vein 1-M forming a straight angle with vein Cua; vein 2-Rs straight; HW1C 1.31; vein Cub distinctly convex on posterior half, forming a distinctly obtuse angle with vein Cua; vein 2-1A close but not reaching posterior wing margin.

Metasoma. First tergite long, about 0.92 × as long T2, finely punctate, sparsely pilose; T1LW 2.8; T1WW 1.22; T1 spiracle at middle; ventro lateral carina absent; thyridium longer than wide; T2–T8 minutely coriacious, punctate, uniformly pilose; T2LW 1.58; T2WW 2.07; OST 1.49; ovipositor slender, basally cylindric, apically slightly depressed; dorsal valve without ridges.

Color. Head, black and whitish, meso and metasoma whitish, black and bright orange. Head: white; mandible apex, supra-antennal area and orbital band, black; scape ventrally orange; flagellum dark brown and f10-15 whitish, f16 with small white spot laterally. Mesosoma : mostly white; mesoscutum, except for the margins, subcircular spot, scutellar carina, scutellum, tegula, subalar ridge, dorsal region of epicnemial carina, bright orange; notaulus dark brown ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 4–5 ); large spot on pronotum, dorsal half margin of mesopleuron, epicnemial carina, mesosternum, mesepimeron (mesopleural suture) and hypoepimeron, a half of posterior area of propodeum, almost entire dark brown to blackish; the another part of propodeum, posteriorly with whitish U-shaped mark; anterior area of propodeum with two lateral pale yellow marks ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 4–5 ); fore and mid legs mostly whitish; first and mid trochanter dorsally and laterally brown, second fore and mid trochanters with ventral and dorsal brown spot; first and mid femora with dorsal brown stripe; fore tibia dorsally orange, mid tibia dorsally with dark brown stripe; fore and mid tarsi dark brown; hind coxa with dorsal and lateral blackish marks, hind trochanter marked with dark brown, orange and whitish; hind femur mostly orange, except base and apex infuscated; hind tibia mostly black except for the base white; hind trochanter black only at the apex; hind tarsomeres white, base of first tarsomere black. Metasoma: dark brown and whitish. Anterior and posterior area of T1, whitish, median dark brown; T2–4 dark brown at the anterior area and posteriorly whitish; T5–6 predominantly brownish, only with its white lateral borders; T7 predominantly whitish, anteriorly with a small white stripe; T-8 brownish, whitish at the apical margin; S1–8 whitish with brown marks laterally.

Comments. Mostly closer to M.variegatus Szépligeti, 1916 from which it can be differentiated by: MLW 1.47 (vs. MLW 2.06); CHW 3.86 (vs. CHW 2.24); CWW 1.62 (vs. 3.25); antenna with 23 flagellomeres (vs. 25 flagellomeres); apex of apical flagellomere not distinctly tapered (vs. distinctly tapered); supra-antennal area striate near antennal sockets (vs. without median line); pronotum moderately pilose (vs. glabrous); mesoscutum scarcely pilose (vs. densely and sparsely pilose); scuto-scutellar groove shallow, without wrinkles (vs. moderately deep, with vestigial longitudinal wrinkles); subalar ridge weakly projected (vs. moderately projected); sternaulus very weakly, almost indistinct (vs. sternaulus moderately strong); scrobe shallow (vs. scrobe moderately deep); mesopleural suture without wrinkles (vs. mesopleural suture ventrally with weak longitudinal wrinkles, wrinkles dorsally vestigial); mesosternum moderately punctate, without wrinkles (vs. mesosternum medially with short transverse wrinkles); metapleuron impunctate, sparsely pilose (vs. metapleuron moderately punctate, densely pilose); juxtacoxal carina absent (vs. represented by very short ridges); fore tibia distinctly swollen (vs. fore tibia weakly swollen); spiracle elliptic, SWL 1.73 (vs. spiracle elongate, SWL 4.57); bulla of crossvein 2m-cu placed on midlength (vs. bulla of crossvein 2m-cu placed mostly on posterior half); 4-Rs straight (vs. 4-Rs distinctly sinuous); OST 1.49 (vs. OST 0.98). In relation to colors can be distinguished mainly by: mesosoma mostly black, whitish and bright orange (vs. mesosoma black); central whitish mark on mesopleuron connected to whitish mark at subalar ridge (vs. not connected); propodeum posteriorly with whitish U-shaped mark (vs. posterior subcircular mark on propodeum); anterior area of propodeum with two lateral marks pale yellow (vs. anterior area without marks).
