Comments. Of the five paratypes (one male and four females) and the allotype mentioned in the original description ( James 1973b), one female is deposited in the WSU collection (WSU No. 703; see Zack, 1984: 19) and the male and three females are currently in the CAS collection (see Figs 12–17 View FIGURES 12–17 for one male and one female). The depository institution of the allotype remains unknown.

Holotype: male ( CEUC = UMCE, currently in MEUC). Type locality: Chile, Santiago Province, Quebrada de la Plata, Rinconada, Maipú, 510 m, 33º31’S, 70º47’W [locality label of the specimen reads 30º31’S 70º47’W, which are not the correct coordinates]. Comments. Of the 17 paratypes (one male and 16 females) and the allotype mentioned in the original description ( James 1973b), two females are deposited in the WSU collection (WSU No. 704; see Zack, 1984: 19) and the male and five females are currently in the CAS collection (see Figs 18–27 View FIGURES 18–27 for one male and two females). Two additional females with the same collection data as the allotype were not designated as paratypes. The depository institution of the allotype and of the remaining nine paratypes are still unknown. The most recent specimen referred to this species is given in Brammer & von Dohlen (2007: 663), collected in 2004, from Limarí, Chile, without details of the locality. It is deposited in the USU collection.
