= Anapospasma Lindner, 1969: 12 . Type species: Anapospasma amoenum Lindner, 1969 [= Actinomyia novaeteutoniae Lindner, 1949 View in CoL ], by monotypy. Syn. by Woodley (1995: 44).

Refs.: James, 1973a: 26.4 (cat.); Woodley, 1995: 34, 39 (in key), 44 (redescr.); Woodley, 2001: 54 (cat.); Pujol-Luz & Pujol-Luz, 2014: 404 (list).

eupodata ( Bigot, 1879) View in CoL (holotype, Figs 28–30 View FIGURES 28–37 )

Exaireta eupodata Bigot, 1879: 198 View in CoL .

Holotype: female ( NHMUK, type number No. BMNH (E)240015). Type locality: Chile. Distr.: Chile: Valparaíso Region: Marga Marga Province (Limache).

Refs.: Hunter, 1900: 122 (cat., as Exaireta ); Kertész, 1908b: 132 (cat., as Neoexaereta ); Aubertin, 1930: 94 (list, as Chorisops ); Lindner, 1943: 91 (list, as Neoexaereta ), 93 (suppl. descr.); Stuardo, 1946: 63 (cat., as Chorisops ); James, 1973a: 26.7 (cat., as Neoexaireta ); James, 1975a: 14 (in key, as Neoexaireta ), 15 (com.); Woodley, 1995: 47 (cat., as Actinomyia ); Woodley, 2001: 54 (cat.).

Comments. This species is only known from the original description by Bigot (1879), except for a single record given in Lindner (1943: 93), of a male, from Limache, Chile. James (1975a) mentioned that this species could be the female of Actinomyia longicornis Schiner, 1868 , also known from Chile, citing erroneously that “Schiner’s species was based on a male from Chile, without further stated locality”, but Schiner (1868) stated that he had one female.

longicornis ( Schiner, 1868)

Exaireta longicornis Schiner, 1868: 73 View in CoL .

Holotype: female ( NMW). Type locality: Chile. Distr.: Metropolitana Region: Cordillera Province (El Volcán). Refs.: Reed, 1888: 285 (cat., as Exaireta ); Hunter, 1900: 122 (cat., as Exaireta ); Kertész, 1908b: 132 (cat., as Neoexaereta ); Aubertin, 1930: 94 (cat., as Chorisops ); Lindner, 1943: 91 (list, as Neoexaereta ); Stuardo, 1946: 63 (cat., as Chorisops ); James, 1973a: 26.7 (cat., as Neoexaireta ); James, 1975a: 14 (in key), 15–16 (com., suppl. descr.); Woodley, 1995: 47 (cat., as Actinomyia ); Woodley, 2001: frontispiece (figure at the bottom), 54 (cat.).

Comments. This species is also only known from the original description by Schiner (1868), except for a questionable record given in James (1975a: 15) of a male from El Volcán, Santiago Province, Chile.
