Current name: Magnolia grandiflora L. ( Magnoliaceae ).

Note: Tobe (in Hunt, Magnolias: 184. 1998) provides an illustration of the lectotype, and one (p. 185) of Catesby’s t. 61. Jarvis (in Symb. Bot. Upsal. 33(3): 26, f. 1. 2005) also reproduces the lectotype.
