Additional remarks. Ng et al. (2014: 32) placed fasciata Roissy View in CoL in the synonymy of ampullacea Linnaeus (Asian) View in CoL , although its status as a New World species had been clarified by Pilsbry (1927a: 247), as explained by Cowie & Thiengo (2003: 63).
