Aleuroctonus LaSalle and Schauff, 1994: 254 . Type species: Euderomphale vittata Dozier , by original designation.

Diagnosis

Mesoscutum and scutellum with numerous setae scattered over the entire surface (figure 24); median propodeum bare (figure 6); fore wing (figure 6) with basal cell bare, speculum small, anterior margin not incised at apex of costal cell and marginal vein, submarginal vein with three dorsal setae; gaster with pale yellow to white markings at base (figures 6, 104, 105), tergites bare to sparsely setose (figure 25).

Distribution

Neotropical region ( Brazil, Costa Rica, southern USA (Florida, Puerto Rico)), the West Indies ( Cayman Islands).

Hosts

Recorded from Aleurodicus antillensis and A. dispersus ( Hemiptera : Aleyrodidae ) (LaSalle and Schauff, 1994).
