Genus Anchomenus Bonelli, 1810 View in CoL

Anchomenus aeneotinctus Bates 1873

Bates (1892) and Schmidt & Liebherr (2009) list this species from Hong Kong. Bousquet (2003e) treats this as a junior synonym of Agonum scintillans Boheman, 1858 ; see note in Schmidt & Liebherr (2009).

Anchomenus laetus Erichson, 1834 View in CoL

Chaudoir (1859), noted this species as occurring in Hong Kong (as Colpodes amaenus Chaudoir, 1859 View in CoL ). Erichson originally described this species from the Philippines and it may well occur in Hong Kong too, as it is distributed northward to the islands off Japan and south to Indonesia. This species is not listed by Bousquet (2003e). Darlington (1952 & 1970) places it in the genus Colpodes W.S. MacLeay, 1825 View in CoL .
