Diagnosis. Males of this species can be recognised by the group of long strong anteroventral setae on the apical third of mid femur ( Fig. 5 ). A similar but reduced group of setae is present in the female ( Fig. 6 ).

Material examined. GEORGIA: Mtskheta-Mtianeti region: meadows E of Kazbegi [~ 42°39’N 44°38’E], 1900 m, 28.vi.1983 (A.C. Pont), 2♂ ; Mt Sameba [~ 42°39’N 44°37’E], pasture, 2250–2300 m, 2.vii.1983 (A.C. Pont), 6♂ 2♀ . AZERBAIJAN: Yardimli district, Kyurekchi , 38°52’N 48°07’E, 1500–1600 m, 24.v.2009 (K. Tomkovich), 5♂ 1♀ ( ZMUM); same locality, pasture meadows, 1700 m, 24.v.2009 (K. Tomkovich), 2♂ 10♀ ( ZMUM); same locality, Ulmus forest, 1700 m, 23–25.v.2009 (K. Tomkovich), 2♂ 2♀ ( ZMUM); same locality, Alnus & stream, 23–26.v.2009 (K. Tomkovich), 1♂ ( ZMUM) . ARMENIA: Gegharkunik province, Yelenovka [an old name for Sevan town], b. Zangi [= Zangi cove] [~ 40°33’N 44°57’E], 2.v.1902 (Elachich, Klemant), 2♂ ( ZISP) .

D. fasciculata is widely distributed in Armenia and was recorded at altitudes from 1660 to 3190 m in the provinces of Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Lori, Shirak, Tavush and Vayots Dzor by Pont (2018: 14). In addition it is known from the Alps ( France,? Austria, Italy), Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia (Altai and Tuva Republics) and China (Shanxi province) .

Remarks. Male terminalia as in Figs 7–9 . Female ovipositor with tergite 8 divided into two rods, as in D. setibasis .
