Diagnosis. The male of this species can be recognised by the group of strong curved setae on ventral and anteroventral surfaces at base of mid femur ( Figs 20 View FIGURES 20–21 , 23 View FIGURES 22–25 ).

D. setibasis is a rare species in Armenia and was previously found only in Aragatsotn province at Lake Kari and on Mt Aragats, from 3190 to 3560 m ( Pont 2018: 15). It is clearly a high-altitude species in both Armenia and Georgia, occurring well above the tree-line.
