Diagnosis. Fore wing length 3.00 mm to8.00 mm. Center of face strongly prominent,with weakly to strongly distinctly median tubercle. Gena broad. Clypeus rather broad and moderately convex, with apical margin uniformly convex or weakly angled in the center. Temple rather short, with upper part usually extending behind posterior margin of eye. Lower part of genal carina weakly to strongly curved toward the hypostomal carina. Mandibular teeth pointed and equal in size. Maxillary palps not or moderately elongated. Mesoscutum with weakly punctuation and/or transverse striae, its median lobe with a longitudinal groove. Notaulus extending beyond center of the mesoscutum. Scutellum rather long and convex, with coarse punctuation and usually weak longitudinal striae; lateral carina of scutellum extending almost to the apex. Sternaulus strongly impressed in the first half of the length of mesopleuron and less impressed towards the base of mid coxa. Posterior transverse carina of the mesosternum complete. Propodeum with a complete set of carinae, except for area basalis and superomedia that are usually confluent. Area superomedia elongate, usually parallel-sided. Propodeum sometimes with a short to long apicolateral tooth. Vein 2rs-m much shorter than the portion of vein 1m-cu&M between vein 2rs-m and vein 2m-cu, sometimes obliterated by proximity of veins RS and 1m-cu&M. Tergite 1 rather long, expanded apically, without a lateromedian carina, with spiracle situated slightly beyond the middle. Sternite 1 long, without preapical transverse carina. Tergites 2 and 3 smooth or with soft transverse impressions, or moderately punctate and/or longitudinally striate. Epipleura of tergites 2 and 3 very narrow, separated by a crease. Epipleura of tergite 4 usually not separated by a crease. Ovipositor about 0.75 times as long as fore wing, with a moderately rounded, lanceolate apex.
