Notes

A widespread Palaearctic species, more common especially in central and northern Europe but reaching as far as the Russian Far East ( Hansen 1999, 2004). Philhydrus marginellus var. minutus F. was recorded from İçel by Peyron (1858), but his record is in need of confirmation.
