TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: French Guiana. Saut Pararé sur l’Arataye (affluent gauche de l’Approuague), 17.II-6.III.1981, Michel and Christine Boulard, 1 ♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6389).

Allotype: French Guiana. Same data as the holotype, 1 ♀ ( MNHN ( EH)6388).

Paratypes: French Guiana. Same data as the holotype, 4 ♂♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6385, MNHN ( EH)6386, MNHN ( EH)6387, MNHN ( EH)16485).

DISTRIBUTION. — The species is known only from French Guiana ( Boulard 1986a).
