TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: Brazil. Amazonas (Humaitá), 3.VII.1975, L.C. Petri réc. ( UNESP).

Paratypes: Brazil. Same data as the holotype, 11 ♂♂ (UNESP) ; 2 ♂♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6564, MNHN ( EH)16479) .

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — “FR. GUYANA ”, 1 ♂ ( AFSC).

DISTRIBUTION. — The species had been previously reported only from Brazil ( Boulard & Martinelli 1996; Santos et al. 2010).
