Material examined. Laos, 10 males, NE Laos, Phou Pan Mt. 1300–1900 m, 1.–15. v. 2010, C. Holzschuh ( LMBC, SYSM).

Distribution. Vietnam, Laos.

Macrolycus ligulatus sp. nov. ( Figs 23 View FIGURES 23 – 30 , 33, 34, 48 View FIGURES 31 – 54 )

Type material. Holotype, male, NE Laos, Phou Pan Mt. 1300–1900 m, 1.–15. v. 2010, C. Holzschuh ( LMBC). Paratypes: 4 males, same data as the holotype ( LMBC, SYSM).

Diagnosis. This species can be easily distinguished from other Macrolycus by the tongue-like structure at apex of the median lobe and the triangular antennomere 3 ( Figs 34, 48 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Description (holotype). Body medium-sized, dark brown, pronotum and elytra uniformly orange ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Head small, with inconspicuous antennal tubercles. Antennae overlapping two thirds of elytra when inclined, antennomere 3 triangular, without prominent lamella ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ); antennomeres 4–11 lamellate. Pronotum transverse, anterior margin slightly protruding forward; lateral margin elevated, curved. Anterior angles obtuse, posterior angles acutely projected ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Elytra covered with orange pubescence, slightly wider in subhumeral area; elytral costa 2 stout, other three weaker than costa 2; costal interstices with irregular punctures. Aedeagus slender, without paramerae; subapical part of aedeagus swollen; apex of aedeagus moderately expanded ventrally, bearing decumbent tongue-like lamella ( Figs 33, 34 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Measurements. Length 10.20 mm, width at humeri 2.15 mm, pronotum length/width 1.90/2.00 mm.

Distribution. Laos, known only from the type locality.

Etymology. The specific name refers to the apical structure of the aedeagus.

Macrolycus luteus sp. nov. ( Figs 30 View FIGURES 23 – 30 , 35, 36, 49 View FIGURES 31 – 54 )

Type material. Holotype, male, China, Guizhou province, Leigongshan, Xijiang, 1200–1900 m, 29. v.–2. vi. 1997, Bolm ( LMBC). Paratype: 1 female, same label data as the holotype ( SYSM).

Diagnosis. This species is similar to M. bowringi , but can be differed by orange-brown coloration and the shape of the pronotum and elytra ( Fig. 30 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Its aedeagus has more robust median lobe than M. bowringi , the subapical part of which is strongly inflated, lateral surface bears a ridge rising from the base of the median lobe ( Figs 35, 36 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Description (holotype). Body large, dark brown, pronotum and elytra yellow-brown ( Fig. 30 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Head with inconspicuous antennal tubercles. Antennae overlapping two thirds of elytra when inclined, antennomeres 3–11 lamellate, lamellae apically obtuse ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ). Pronotum transverse, with prominent posterior angles and transverse rib; anterior margin slightly projected, minutely emarginate in middle; lateral margins strongly curved, posterior margin almost straight ( Fig. 30 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Scutellum black, narrower, slightly emarginate posteriorly. Elytra leaf-like, widened posteriorly, constricted at posterior fourth, apically acute, covered with dense, decumbent yellow pubescence, bearing 4 conspicuous orange-yellow costae: costa 2 and 4 much stouter and elevated. Interstices brown, punctured. Aedeagus with paramerae; subapical part of median lobe inflated in lateral view; apex of median lobe with two minute processes; paramerae robust, constricted apically ( Figs 35, 36 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Measurements. Length 16.50 mm, width at humeri 3.70 mm, pronotum length/width 2.45/3.00 mm.

Distribution. China (Guizhou), known only from the type locality.

Etymology. The specific name refers to the yellow brown coloration.

Macrolycus mucronatus sp. nov. ( Figs 27 View FIGURES 23 – 30 , 37, 38, 50 View FIGURES 31 – 54 )

Type material. Holotype, male, China, Guangxi province, Miaoershan, S slope, 1300–2000 m, Bolm, 25.–26. vi. 1997 ( LMBC). Paratype: 1 female, same label data as the holotype ( SYSM).

Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the acute lamella of the antennomere 3 ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ). It differs from M. gracilis by the shape of the pronotum and antennomeres, and the erect apical lamina of the aedeagus, in contrast to ventrally inclined lamina in M. gracilis ( Figs 27 View FIGURES 23 – 30 , 37, 50 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ). It can also be distinguished from M. multicostatus by the slenderer apical part of the median lobe and lamellate antennomeres 3–11 ( Figs 38, 50 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Description (holotype). Body medium-sized, dark brown, pronotum and elytra dark red ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Head small, with inconspicuous antennal tubercles, antennae overlapping four fifths of elytral length when inclined, antennomere 3 with short acute lamella ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ). Pronotum with anterior edge protruding anteriad and acutely projected posterior angles ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Scutellum dark brown, parallel-sided, with straight posterior margin. Elytra almost parallelsided, as wide as pronotum at humeri. Elytral costa 2 much stouter than other ones, costa 3 inconspicuous. Costal interspaces irregularly punctured, covered with short, decumbent pubescence. Median lobe slender, moderately curved at basal third; subapical part wider, abruptly constricted distad; apical part of median lobe tube-shaped, with prominent rounded lamella ( Figs 37, 38 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Measurements. Length 11.30 mm, width at humeri 2.30 mm, pronotum length/width 1.80/1.90 mm.

Distribution. China (Guangxi), known only from the type locality.

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the shape of antennal lamellae.
