Note: ―On the basis of morphological characters, two groups (section level) can be recognized in Pyankovia . Iljin (1936: 235, 236) invalidly (Art. 39.1 of ICN, McNeill et al. 2012) proposed these as sections “ Brachyphylla ” and “ Heterotricha ” of Salsola ; then these sections were recognized and validated in Climacoptera by Pratov (1986).
