Selenothrips Karny

There is only one species in this genus, and its country of origin remains conjectural. It is easily recognized amongst Panchaetothripinae by the exceptionally dark fore wings with robust setae, and the lack of reticulation on the posterior part of the head ( Fig. 65 ).
