Female (n = 3). Dimensions: length of idiosoma 400 395 (390–400) and width 325 328 (325–330).

Dorsum ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A)—Prodorsum recurved, with 11 pairs of dorsal setae, setae ro, la, ex and c2 intermediate in length, slightly curved and serrated. Setae c1, d1, e1, f1 and f2 long, strong, barbed, broadened distally, brush-like ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B). Trichobothrium simple, pointed. Setal measurements as follows: ro 28 30 (28–32), la 31 32 (30–33), bo 53 55 (53–58), ex 30 30(29–32), c1 43 45 (43–47), c 2 27 27 (25–29), d1 44 45 (42–47), e1 38 38 (37–40), f 1 30 32 (30–34), f2 40 41 (40–42), h 1 30 30 (29–31), h2 40 39 (38–41), ps 1 18 19 (18–20) on ventral side. Dorsal reticulation formed by relatively small, irregular cells.

Venter —Anogenital area with six pairs of genital, four pairs of aggenital and ps2 7 7 (7–8) in anal region. Epimeral formula: 3-1-4-3.

Gnathosoma ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 C)— Gnathosoma partially visible. Setal pattern of palp (tarsus –genu): 5-2-2, palpal tarsus dumpy and short. Tarsus with seta p' ζ broadened and stout. Cheliceral stilettos length 28 30 (28–32) ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 D); length of palp 38 38 (38–39).

Legs ( Figs. 8 View FIGURE 8 E–F)—Length of legs I–IV as follows: leg I 150 149 (146–153), leg II 110 115 (110–121), leg III 147 150 (147–153) and leg IV 163 165 (163–168). All legs with two claws and a hairy empodium, empodial hooks present (om), strong, short. Solenidion (ωI) on tarsus I short, shorter than half width of tarsus. Tarsus I with ft' serrate shorter than ft'' smooth. Setae k on tibia I forked. Leg setal formulae as follows (tarsus-trochanter): Leg I: 6 (1ω)-3(1k)-2-3-1; Leg II: 5(1ω)-1-0-3-1; Leg III: 5-1-0-1-1; Leg IV: 4-1-0-0-0.

Male: Not found.

Material examined. Brazil: Three females collected from Boqueirão do Leão County, Bordeaux variety, State of Rio Grande do Sul, 11/XII/2006, coll. Horn, T.B., deposited at Museu de Ciências Naturais, UNIVATES - Centro Universitário, Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil.

Distribution. This is the first record of this species from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Kaźmierski (1998b) reported this species on an unidentified tree from Costa Rica.
