Genus Conicera Meigen, 1830 View in CoL View at ENA

The genus is known from all biogeographical regions ( Disney, 1994), although it is not particularly speciose. In Israel, it has already been represented by cosmopolitan C. tibialis Schmitz, 1925 ( Disney & Nussbaum, 1990; Lengyel, 2011a). Two species below are new records for the country.
