Taraxacum baeckiiforme besitzt schmale, unberandete, seitlich abstehende äußere Involukralblätter, rosarote, etwas geflügelte Blattstiele und schmale, abstehende Blattseitenlappen, die durch deutlich entwickelte, schwarzviolett gefärbte Interlobien getrennt sind.
Die Art bevorzugt wärmegetönte Standorte und hat ihren Verbreitungsschwerpunkt in Mitteleuropa.
