Diagnosis. Body slender ( Fig. 79 ); lower facial margin with a black projection ( Figs. 80–82 ); 1 supra-alar macroseta plus 1 seta; base of cell r4 narrow ( Fig. 84 ); epandrium with apex straight ( Fig. 87 ); epandrium sub-rectangular in lateral view with a short projection at apex ( Fig. 87 ); hypandrium with a tuft of short yellow setae on the middle ( Fig. 88 ); gonostylus curved, tapered from base to apex ( Fig. 89 ); gonocoxite sub-quadrangular with a projection on external margin ( Fig. 90 ); aedeagus strongly curved upward ( Fig. 91 ); subepandrial sclerite with a basal plate ( Fig. 92 ).

Type material. Holotype: [ BRASIL], D.[istrito] Federal [Rio de Janeiro], Trapicheiro , 22.v.1944, [22°54ʹ30.33ʺS 43°12ʹ50.95ʺW], Milton Valle [collector] / Holotype Leinendera nigra Vieira (♂ CEIOC) .

Distribution. Brazil: Rio de Janeiro ( Fig. 1 ).
