Distribution in North Carolina: Southeastern part of the state. Counties: CU, NH and WK (material examined).

Distribution in surrounding states: GA ( Graham et al. 2008) and SC ( Davies 2009).

To our knowledge, the record of B. patagonicus in Wake County, North Carolina, represents the northern record known from its introduced range.
