- Berosus (Berosus) rubiginosus Kuwert, 1890

Hebauer (1997) reported a doubtful record of B. rubiginosus from Egypt. The Egyptian distribution was not included in Schödl (1995), Hansen (1999), Hebauer (2006), or Fikáček et al. (2015). The species occurs mainly in the Afrotropical

region, and in the Palearctic region it is known only from northern Saudi Arabia ( Schödl 1995; Hansen 1999; Hebauer 2006).

- Berosus (Berosus) vitticollis Boheman, 1851

Hebauer (1997) reported a doubtful record of B. vitticollis from Egypt. The Egyptian distribution was not included in Schödl (1994b), Hansen (1999), or Hebauer (2006). The species occurs mainly in the Afrotropical region ( Schödl 1994b; Hansen 1999; Hebauer 2006).

- Laccobius (Dimorpholaccobius) obscuratus obscuratus Rottenberg, 1874

Hebauer (1997) reported a doubtful record of L. obscuratus obscuratus from Egypt. According to Hebauer and Klausnitzer (1998) and Fikáček et al. (2015), the species is common in the Palearctic region, widely distributed throughout Europe and western Asia (excluding the Far North and North Africa).

- Laccobius (Dimorpholaccobius) sinuatus sinuatus Motschulsky, 1849

Laccobius sinuatus has been reported in Egypt by many authors such as Orchymont (1927), Alfieri (1976), Salman (1996), Hebauer (1997), Zalat et al. (2008), and Tawfik et al. (2013). The species is widely distributed in Europe. In Africa, the species is known only from Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia ( Hebauer 2006; Fikáček et al. 2015; Przewoźny and Fikáček 2016).
