Amphibola quadrasi Möllendorf, 1894: 120 ; Hidalgo 1904: 284.

Remarks: Quadras & Möllendorf (1894) tentatively included A. quadrasi in Amphibola on the basis of the notch-like sinus which is also present in A. crenata . The locality of the type is Manila, Philippines and Hidalgo (1904) also recorded the species from Malabon and the island Luzon. As the anatomy of A. quadrasi is unknown and we have not been able to examine authentic specimens, the generic determination of this taxon is unresolved. It is, however, unlikely to belong in Amphibola given its size (shell diameter to 14 mm).
