According to article 57.2 of the Code, a junior primary homonym is permanently invalid (ICZN 1999). Here we propose Aphis rhamnus Lee, Lee & Kim , nom. nov. as a replacement name for Aphis rhamnicola Lee, Lee & Kim, 2015 . The new specific name is a noun in apposition based on host, Rhamnus (= buckthorn), the gender is feminine.
