Material examined. Bohemia centr., Praha, Albertov, 1 M, 6.xi.2009, O. Balvín leg., det. et coll.
Circum-mediterranean species distributed in Europe, Africa and Asia Minor (Kočárek et al. 2005). In the CR, it was found for the first time in southern Moravia at the beginning of the 1990s (Vlk 2002). At the present time, it is known from many southern Moravian localities reaching Brno and its surroundings (Kočárek et al. 2008). Recently, it has been found in Prague (as noted earlier in this report). It very probably is a distant introduction, i.e., it was introduced by highway or railway traffic. However, it is also possible that a breeding population has existed in the area of Prague for a substantial period but has been overlooked because it occurs high in tree canopies. New species for Bohemia.
