Material examined. Bohemia mer., Český Krumlov, 3.viii.2008, 1 M, 2 F, 15.viii.2008, 1 M, 1 F, 10.viii.2010, 1 M, 2 F; P. Marhoul leg., det. et coll.; 29.ix.2012, 1 M, J. Holuša leg., det. et coll.; Klenová, 15.viii.2009, 2 M, P. Marhoul leg., det. et coll.
Species with relatively small area of distribution; it occurs from central Europe to northern Italy and the western parts of the Balkan Peninsula (Kočárek et al. 2005). In the CR, it has been previously found only in the surroundings of Český Krumlov (Čejchan 1955). In neighbouring countries, it has been reported from Slovakia (I–Klub Slovenských Orthopterológov 2006-2012), but the occurrence there must be confirmed, and from Austria, where it occurs continuously from Vienna southwards (Zuna-Kratky et al. 2009).
