Type locality: Trinidad and Tobago, Tamara Hill Cave ( Brennan 1958). Type host: Pteronotus rubiginosus View in CoL (= Chilonycteris rubiginosa View in CoL ) (Wagner, 1843) ( Chiroptera : Mormoopidae View in CoL ). Type depository: USNM (holotype), NHMUK (paratypes) and MNHN (paratypes). Panama records. This species was found parasitizing C. perspicillata View in CoL ( Chiroptera : Phyllostomidae View in CoL )
in Los Santos Province, Micronycteris megalotis (Gray, 1842) View in CoL ( Chiroptera : Phyllostomidae View in CoL ) and Saccopteryx bilineata (Temminck, 1838) View in CoL ( Chiroptera : Emballonuridae View in CoL ) in Pacora, Panama Province ( Brennan and Yunker 1966).
