Type locality: Panama Province, Chilibre, Chilibrillo caves (Yunker and Jones 1961). Type host: Pteronotus rubiginosus (= Chilonycteris rubiginosa ) (Wagner, 1843) ( Chiroptera : Mormoopidae ). Type depository: USNM (holotype and paratypes). Panama records. Only known from the type series.
