Etymology. The specific epithet is a noun in apposition and refers to the bump present on the RTA of the male palp.
Diagnosis. Males of this species are similar to those of S. albipes sp. nov. for having light front legs and straight emboli in the palp (see Figs 36, 38 View FIGURES 34–38 , 39, 43 View FIGURES 39–44 ), but can be easily distinguished by having a bump on the RTA ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 39–44 ). Females are unknown.

Carapace dark brown, 1.65 long, 1.05 wide, 0.70 high, with the cephalic region black and a small yellow area around fovea extending laterally behind posterior eyes ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 34–38 , 57–58 View FIGURES 45–59 ). Ocular quadrangle 0.84 long. Anterior eye row 1.18 wide and posterior 1.10 wide. Chelicera light brown. Labium and sternum light brown. Endite slightly projected laterally. Palpal femur dark brown, rest yellow; RTA with a distal bump and a curved tip pointing backwards; tegulum slightly elongate with a poorly developed sperm loop and ledge, and a straight, short embolus at its distal end ( Figs 43–44 View FIGURES 39–44 ). Legs 4132; femur I dark brown, rest of leg I yellow; II–IV dark brown, fading toward tarsi. Length of femur: I 0.87, II 0.75, III 0.75, IV 0.90; patella + tibia: I 1.05, II 0.85, III 0.85, IV 1.05; metatarsus + tarsus: I 0.87, II 0.80, III 0.97, IV 1.22. Spination as in S. albipes sp. nov. Abdomen dorsally dark brown, variegated, with little conspicuous posterior chevrons ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 34–38 ); ventrally cream colored. Spinnerets dark brown.
Female. Unknown.
Variation. Carapace length: 1.525–1.65 (males, n=4).
