( Fig. 180 View FIGURE 180 )
Clinterocera heinrichi Krikken, 2016: 395 View in CoL View Cited Treatment (type locality: Mount Tambusisi, Sulawesi Tengah), figs. 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16–18, 21– 22 ♂ (holotype).
Differential diagnosis. The body of this species is almost black and in large size (length 22 mm), and it can be distinguished from its closest congeners by the presence of a pronotal tomentous band and lateral tomentous band, absence of posthumeral and lateral tomentous spots, and thicker tarsi.
Material examined. None.
Distribution. Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Nature history. Unknown.
Remarks. Most members of the Clinterocera jucunda species group are distributed in continental Asia and nearby islands (Ryukyu, Taiwan, Hainan), while C. heinrichi occurring in Sulawesi far away from the main distribution range of this species group (see Table 1). This species was described based on a single male specimen, and other two similar specimens from Sulawesi were not designated as paratypes because Krikken (2016) was unsure if they were conspecific.
