Material examined. MBM 300740 (1 left valve), Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, China, collected by Yan Wenxia, 1992.

Distribution and habitat. Zhanjiang, China; Southern Korea Peninsula; Japan. Among the roots of sea weeds in intertidal zone to 20m depth.

Type locality. Ulsan, Southern Korea.

Diagnosis. Length to 10 mm; shell outline irregular roundish to ovate; right valve larger than left valve; umbo prominent; the demarcating ridge of the posterior area obtuse, extending from umbo to posteroventral margin; sculpture of rough commarginal lines, without radial ribs; periostracum only found on posterior area; hinge of left valve with a small chondrophore, right valve with a small resilifer; pallial sinus broad, moderately deep, not reaching center of shell; pallial line discontinuous.
