Diagnosis. Length 4.5–4.8 mm. Yellowish red-brown, elytra with black transversal band on 1–7 intervals behind middle ( Figs. 7, 8 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ).

Head very irregularly punctate with punctures separated by 0.5–3 their diameters, near eyes often confluent. Head and clypeus with strong, almost isodiametric microsculpture throughout. Eyes moderately large and bulging.

Pronotum 1.22–1.3 times as wide as head, 1.43–1.49 times as wide as long, widest near marginal setae. Anterior margin slightly concave, anterior angles effaced, sides regularly rounded, weakly sinuate or straight at base, posterior angles rectangular or slightly obtuse. Punctation on disc irregular, as dense as that on head. Lateral margins of pronotum broadly reflexed on anterior half; flat, explanate and impunctate in basal half. Basal grooves indistinct, flat. Microsculpture irregular, indistinct in middle, slightly transversely polygonal on sides.

Elytra subparallel, 1.3–1.4 times as long as wide, with polygonal microsculpture. Striae deep and clearly punctate in anterior half. Intervals almost flat.

Claws with 4 teeth. Abdominal sterna smooth, shiny, except long marginal setae, covered by mixed pubescence of various length setae. Propleuron, mes- and metepisterna smooth.

Aedeagus ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 25 – 28 ). Aedeagal median lobe moderately slender, ventral surface slightly arcuate, tip long and slightly downturned. Internal sac without spines.
