Male. Abdominal segment VIII entirely covered with setiferous punctures, except a narrow medial longitudinal impunctate band; posterior margins of tergite VIII slightly emarginated forwards, that of sternite VIII slightly protruding medially ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1A, B). Tergite IX symmetrical, connected mediobasally. Sternite IX symmetrical, with slightly acuminate base and emarginated posterior margin ( Fig. 14H View FIGURE 14 ; Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1C). Tergite X symmetrical, with subtruncated basal margin and broadly emarginated posterior margin ( Fig. 14G View FIGURE 14 ; Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1D), in situ broadly exposed between tergite IX. Median lobe of aedeagus oviform, large sized ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1E, F), basal piece without transparent, membranous medial-longitudinal band; basal bulb 1.75 mm long ( Fig. 14D View FIGURE 14 ), anterior portion short, tapered apically and, 0.21 mm. Parameres symmetrical and long, 1/2 of basal bulb length, with long hooklike structures. Internal sac with curved and soft scales, medium portion with large spines, apical portion with two rows of tiny spines ( Fig. 14E, F View FIGURE 14 ; Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1E).

Female. Posterior margin of sternite VIII ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1G) distinctly protruding backwards. Genital segment medium sized ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 -1H), 0.63 mm long, sternite with bisinuate base; supplementary sclerites symmetrical, subtriangular, and medium sized of 0.29 mm long, overlapped 1/3 part of basal margin of genital sternite.

Distribution. China (Hainan, Yunnan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Fujian, Xizang, Chongqing, Shanghai); Pakistan, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam.

Remarks. This species ( Fig. 14A–C View FIGURE 14 ) could be distinguished from its congeners by: 1) head subquadrate, with slightly dilated temples; 2) dorsal surface of head distributed with round, deep, large-sized punctures, interspaces between punctures 1–2 punctures’ diameter; 3) the impunctate medial longitudinal band on head not narrower than 0.25 mm; 4) eye large, 1/2 of temple length; 5) three paired large punctures on the frontal region; 6) frontal and anteocular furrows distinctly deep and long; 7) antennomere II slightly rounded, longer than III; 8) tergites III–VII covered with superficial transverse microstriae, each segment with basal impression, which covered with polygonal reticulum; 9) parameres with long hook-like structures; 10) internal sac with curved and soft scales, medium portion with large spines, apical portion with two rows of tiny spines.
