Epilachna wissmanni ab. processa Weise, 1908: 217 .

Henosepilachna processa Li & Cook, 1961: 45 .– Jadwiszczak & Wegrzynowicz, 2003: 164.

Henosepilachna processa is a widely distributed species in the northeastern region of India, but it was left out of the updated checklist of Indian Coccinellidae View in CoL by Poorani (2004) as India was not listed in its distribution range by Jadwiszczak & Wegrzynowicz (2003) in their world catalogue of Epilachninae . Based on the examination of a large series of specimens from the northeastern region of India, it is confirmed as present in India.

Distribution: India (Arunachal Pradesh; Andamans; Assam; Karnataka; Maharashtra; Manipur; Meghalaya; Nicobar; Sikkim). Nepal. Bhutan. Myanmar. China. Taiwan. Thailand. Vietnam. Philippines. Indonesia.
