Previous records: Guarda: Guarda ( Bacelar 1928: 186). Setúbal: Arrábida NP , Vale da Rasca ( Cardoso et al. 2008a: 124) .

New records: Aveiro : Albergaria-a-Velha , Angeja (CBM); Dunas de São Jacinto Natural Reserve , 2 females, spring 2003, A. C. Rufino leg (IMAR); Oliveira de Azeméis (CBM). Beja : Vale do Guadiana NP, Mértola , Braciais , 1 female, 26.III.2003 (CPC). Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Miranda do Douro, Picote , 1 female, 30.V.2001 (CPC). Coimbra: Paúl de Arzila NR, 1 male 11 females, 10.IV–19.VI.2006, 6 males 8 females, 28.V.2008 (CLC). Évora: Montemor-o-Novo, 1 female, 2004, S. Mendes leg. (IMAR). Leiria: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP, Alcanena, Mira d'Aire, 2 males 1 female, 23.IV–4.VI.2002 (CPC). Distribution: Palearctic.

Habitat type: The species is present in a variety of habitat types, from marshes to pseudosteppes.

Phenology: The species presents two generations per year in Portugal, with adult peaks during April/May and then during September/October.
