Description: Wiehle (1956: 178, figs 297–302), Roberts (1987: 148, fig. 77b).

Previous records: Sintra: Sintra ( Bacelar 1935).

New records: Braga: Vila Nova de Famalicão (CBM) . Porto: Porto (CBM).

Distribution: Holarctic.

Habitat type: Unkwown in Portugal. In Central Europe, it is common in and around houses ( Wiehle, 1956)

Penology: Bacelar (1935) collected the species in February. In Central Europe, it can be found during the whole year ( Wiehle, 1956).
