Description: Wiehle (1956: 137, figs 234–241), Roberts (1987: 140, fig. 71e).

New records: Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Mogadouro, Bruçó , 1 male, 14.XI.2001 (CPC) .

Distribution: Palearctic. First record in Portugal.

Habitat type: Probably found exclusively in dense canopy forests.

Phenology: In Portugal found once in November; in Central Europe the species is adult in autumn ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991).
