Previous records: Lisboa: Abelheira ( Telfer et al. 2003); Bandalhoeira ( Telfer et al. 2003); Forte do Picolo ( Telfer et al. 2003); Mosqueiro de Cima ( Telfer et al. 2003); Póvoa de Cima ( Telfer et al. 2003); Sobral da Abelheira ( Telfer et al. 2003); Tapada de Mafra ( Telfer et al. 2003); Vila Pouca ( Telfer et al. 2003).

New records: Coimbra: Paúl de Arzila NR, 6 males 23 females, 10.IV–2.VII.2006 (CLC). Faro: road Marmelete-Casais, Ribeira de Alfambres , 1 female, beating in oak forest, 22.V.2007 (CRB). Lisboa: Lisboa, Monsanto, 2 males 4 females 21.XI.2004 – 5.II.2005, A. Rebelo leg. ( CAR) .

Distribution: Until now only known from the Algerian coast and from the region of Lisboa; cited here in Portugal also in Coimbra and more to the south of Portugal in Faro.

Habitat type: On bushes and low trees of different habitat types.

Phenology: In Portugal, this rare species was collected from November to July, as in Algeria ( Bosmans 2007).
