Description: Wiehle (1960: 20, figs 9–14), Roberts (1987: 54, fig. 20a).

Previous records: Lisboa: Mafra, Tapada de Mafra ( Telfer et al. 2003) .

New records: Coimbra : Paúl de Arzila NR, 1 female, 11.V.2008 (CLC) .

Distribution: Holarctic.

Habitat type: Prefers mostly damp forests.

Phenology: In Portugal collected twice in May, whereas in central Europe it is adult in June-July ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991).
