Description: Bosmans & Abrous (1992: 84, figs 147–153), Wunderlich (1995: 646, figs 7–11).

New records: Beja: Vale do Guadiana NP, Mértola , Cerro das Antenas, 7 females, 26.II–23.IV.2003 (CPC); Mértola, Corredoura, 2 males 3 females, 5.XI–3.XII.2003 (CPC) . Faro: Ribeira de Almargem , 1 female, stones at border of river, 19.II.2006 (CRB) . Portalegre: Nisa , 3 females, A. Rufino leg. (IMAR) .

Distribution: France, Corsica, Algeria. New to Portugal.

Habitat type: Always found at the border of rivers.

Phenology: In Portugal, found from November to April.
