Previous records: Porto: Matosinhos, Praia de Pampelido ( Machado 1949, sub L. mediocre , misidentification) .
New records: Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Freixo de Espada à Cinta, Mazouco, 1 female, 18.IV.2001; Miranda do Douro, Vila Chã da Braciosa , 1 male, 21. II.2001 (CPC) . Faro: Vila Real de Santo António, Monte Gordo, 1 female, 4.IV.1981 (CJFM) . Leiria: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP , Porto de Mós, Barrenta, 2 males 5 females, 7–21.V.2002 (CPC) .
Distribution: Europe. The related P. mediocris (Kulczyn'ski, 1899) only occurs on Madeira.
Habitat type: Different habitat types.
Phenology: Found from February to May.
