Description: Wiehle (1956: 131, figs 223–227), Bosmans (2006a: 153, figs 84–88).

Previous records: Setúbal: Arrábida NP , Vale da Rasca ( Cardoso et al. 2008a) .

New records: Santarém: Paúl do Boquilobo NR, Torres Novas, montado, 1 male, 20.II.2002 (CPC). Distribution: Europe .

Habitat type: The two sites in Portugal are both Quercus suber plantations .

Phenology: Only collected in February. In the Maghreb, adults were found from October to June ( Bosmans 2006a).
