Tenuiphantes zimmermanni (Bertkau, 1890)

Description: Wiehle (1956: 200, figs 336–339), van Helsdingen et al. (1977: 23, figs 24–27, 61), Roberts (1987: 150, fig. 78d).

Previous records: Braga: Peneda-Gerês NP, Terras de Bouro, Mata da Albergaria ( Cardoso et al. 2008b). Erroneously cited from Portugal by Fage (1931), corrected by van Helsdingen (1970) to T. tenuis .

New records: Aveiro: Mealhada, Buçaco (CBM). Bragança: Mirandela, Vale de Salgueiro (CBM) . Lisboa: Sintra (CBM); Tapada de Mafra , 1 male, in pine forest, 31. III.2001 (CGT) . Viana do Castelo: Carvoeiro (CBM); Paredes de Coura (CBM) .

Distribution: Europe.

Habitat type: Mostly found in closed, damp forests.

Phenology: Unknown in Portugal, in temperate Europe found throughout the year ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991).
