Description: Thaler & Plachter (1983: 461, figs 1–8), Bosmans (2006a: 151, figs 94–98).

New records: Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Mogadouro, Tó , 1 male, 3.X.2001 (CPC) . Leiria: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP , Porto de Mós, Barrenta , 8 males, 9.IV–21.V.2002 (CPC) ; Porto de Mós, Serro Ventoso, 4 males, 9.IV–21.V.2002 (CPC); Vila Nova de Ourém , Bairro , 7 males, 23.IV–21.V.2002 (CPC) .

Distribution: Southern France, Corsica, Algeria, new record for Portugal.

Habitat type: Only found in closed, damp forests.

Phenology: Adults were collected from Oktober to May.
