Description: Wiehle (1960: 478, figs 854-860), Roberts (1987: 72, figs 30a, 31a).

Previous records: Viana do Castelo: Vila Nova de Cerveira, Ilha dos Amores ( Machado 1949). As Machado’s material cannot be verified, the presence in Portugal should be confirmed.

Distribution: Palearctic.

Habitat type and phenology: Unknown in Portugal. In Central Europe, the species occurs all over the year Wiehle (1960) ,.
